About Matt
Matt Churchwell is the proud son of two military parents with a brother on the Autism spectrum. He comes from a proud Union family, and he grew up in Macomb County. He is a proud father of one daughter with another one on the way. He has had a distinguished career serving multiple presidents, he served as the US Chief of Staff for the world’s largest law firm, is currently a Director of Urban Strategy, and has earned a Masters in Organizational Leadership and has an MBA from Detroit Mercy.
It’s time for a Treasurer that will fight for working families and can be invested in Macomb for the long-term. One that is raising their family in Macomb and dedicated to making sure the County remains the best place in the world to raise a family. It’s time for a Treasurer that will work for you.
